Coast Guard stands up IMT for Hurricane Dolly

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Coast Guard has stood up an Incident Management Team at Sector Corpus Christi, in response to Hurricane Dolly.

Coast Guard small boats, patrol boats, aids to navigation boats and aircraft are conducting post storm damage assessments and recovery operations along the South Texas coast, and are working closely with state and local authorities throughout the affected area.

“The Coast Guard is hard at work with our state and local partners to ensure the safety of people of South Texas, the protection of the Gulf Coast environment, and the smooth resumption of activities in the ports and along the waterways affected by the storm.” said Capt. Bob Paulison, commander of Sector Corpus Christi .
