PITTSBURGH — The U.S. Coast Guard is scheduled to establish a safety zone on the Monongahela River, Saturday, in preparation for the Spirit of Morgantown Triathlon.
The safety zone will be from mile marker 101.0 to 102.0, near the Morgantown Lock and Dam and will be enforced from 5:30 a.m., until 10:30 a.m.
Mariners shall not enter into, depart from, or move within the safety zone unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port of Pittsburgh or a designated representative. All concerned mariners may contact the Coast Guard on the day of the event on VHF-FM Channel 16 for more information.
