Coast Guard serching for missing man

SEATTLE -The Coast Guard is searching for a Birch Bay, Wash., man after his family reported he hasn’t been seen or heard from since getting underway 6 a.m. Saturday.

Robin Sherman, 60 years-old, has a mustache and speaks with a thick Dutch accent. Sherman’s 24-foot pleasure craft, Sea Quest, was found after drifting ashore on the north end of Lummi Island, Wash.

An HH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Group Port Angeles and a small boat crew from Coast Guard Station Bellingham is also are assisting in the search.
