Coast Guard Searching Western Lake Erie for Overdue Vessel

Vermilion, OH – The Coast Guard is currently coordinating a search effort for an overdue 21-foot pleasure-craft Rezbee with three people on board. The vessel was reported overdue at 9:30 p.m. Monday night when the vessel failed to return from an overnight fishing trip here.

Boats from Station Cleveland Harbor and Station Lorain, as well as, a helicopter from Air Station Detroit and a C-130 plane from Rescue Coordination Center Trenton are the assets involved in the search.

The names of the three people onboard are:

Christopher Crowner, 46 years old.

Dan Crowner,44 year old

Cazz Monchilove, age unknown.

The Coast Guard is asking that anyone seeing the Rezbee, any of the people reported to be onboard, or any items that could have come from the vessel, to report that information to the nearest Coast Guard Station.
