Coast Guard searching for woman after fall from cruise ship Norwegian Pearl

MIAMI — The Coast Guard is searching for an unidentified woman who fell from a cruise ship, Thursday, 22 nautical miles off the coast of Cuba.

Watchstanders at Coast Guard 7th District command center received the initial report at approximately 7 p.m. from crew of the Norwegian Pearl stating that a woman had fallen from the deck of the ship.

The Coast Guard Cutter Alligator and an aircrew aboard a C-130 from Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater are en route to assist in the search for the woman.
