BOSTON — The Coast Guard and other agencies are searching Narragansett Bay, R.I., for a 25-year old man who fell into the water, around 2 p.m., Sun., Aug. 29, 2010.
Coast Guard Sector Southeastern New England dispatched a boat crew from Coast Guard Station Castle Hill and a Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Cape Cod after receiving a report from 911 of four people who fell in the water in the vicinity of Hazard Rock near Narragansett Pier.
[amazon-product]1933212292[/amazon-product]The Narragansett Fire Department pulled three people out of the water but crews are still searching for the forth person. The man is reportedly wearing long pants, a blue shirt and has long black hair.
Their conditions are unknown.
Along with Coast Guard crews, the fire department and Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management are searching.
The current weather on scene is 5-10 knot winds, 2-3 foot seas and the water temperature is 71 degrees.
