Coast Guard searching for overdue fisherman near Texas City, Texas

HOUSTON — The Coast Guard is searching for a 60 year-old-man who was reported overdue near Swan Lake in Texas City, Texas, Friday.

Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders received a report from a family member that Dale Wolf was overdue from a routine fishing trip. Wolf’s 16-foot fishing vessel was found at anchor with no one aboard and his keys, wallet and cell phone still inside.

It is reported that Wolf is wearing a light blue shirt with dark-colored fishing waders.

  • A Coast Guard Air Station Houston MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew
  • A Coast Guard Station Galveston 45-foot Response Boat–Medium crew
  • Texas City Fire Department

Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders have issued an Urgent Marine Information Broadcast for a possible person in the water.
