SAN PEDRO, Calif. — The Coast Guard is searching for two people aboard a sailboat between Santa Cruz Island and Goleta Beach, Calif., after they were reported overdue from a fishing trip.
A family member reported that Jesse Hunt, 36, and Robyn Ledenbach, 26, departed from Goleta Beach on a fishing trip on Saturday and planned to return Sunday afternoon.
An MH-65 Dolphin rescue helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Los Angeles, a 25-foot response boat from Coast Guard Station Channel Islands Harbor and the 87-foot Coast Guard Cutter Narwhal are all searching the area.
