PHILADELPHIA — The Coast Guard is searching for a swimmer who reportedly went missing off Point Pleasant Beach, Sunday.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay were notified by the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department at about 2:27 a.m. of a 24-year-old white female with brown hair who reportedly went missing while swimming with a friend.
The Coast Guard launched a 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew from Coast Guard Station Manasquan Inlet and an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City to search for the missing swimmer.
