Coast Guard searching for missing diver

PONCE INLET, Fla. – The Coast Guard is searching for a man that was diving with his family 10 miles northeast of Ponce Inlet Saturday morning.

Kenneth Gessinger, 54, of Port Orange, Fla., was diving with his family on a 21-foot boat when he surfaced and then quickly disappeared under the water. Gessinger’s family quickly contacted the Coast Guard on VHF channel 16 to request assistance.
