MIAMI – The Coast Guard is currently searching the waters near Key West, Fla., for a rented, 19-foot, pleasure craft reported overdue after it failed to return from a voyage as scheduled today.
Three men are reported to be aboard the Blue Lagoon Water Sports rental craft, which was scheduled to return around 5 p.m.
A rescue boat from Coast Guard Station Key West and a helicopter from Air Station Miami are searching in the vicinity of Cow Cut Key and the Salt Ponds.
The Coast Guard Cutter Chandeleur is en route from Miami from to also assist with the search.
