Coast Guard searches for missing boater near Muir Beach

SAN FRANCISCO — The Coast Guard is searching for a missing boater Wednesday after a capsized 10-foot white fiber glass skiff was found approximately a mile off of Muir Beach.

Missing is Juki Dang, a 64-year-old male, from Oakland.

Car keys and the missing boaters wallet were found aboard the skiff, and a cooler containing fish was located nearby.

A Good Samaritan notified Coast Guard Sector San Francisco watchstanders at approximately 11:30 a.m., stating they found the skiff off Muir Beach with no one aboard.

Anyone with any information with regards to Dang is requested to contact Coast Guard Sector San Francisco personnel at 415-399-3547 or via VHF-FM radio channel 16.
