NEWPORT, R.I.- The Coast Guard responded to a vessel collision near Klingstone House in Newport, R.I., Saturday.

Coast Guard Station Castle Hill received a report from the vessel Rum Runner II at 5:10 p.m., that a collision occurred between the sailing vessels Nefertiti and Blue Jay.
