MOBILE, Ala. — The Coast Guard is responding to a report of a missing person near Panama City, Fla. Saturday.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Mobile, received a report that a 32-year-old woman went missing while swimming with her boyfriend and nephew near the Panama City Pier, at approximately 8 p.m., Friday.
Coast Guard Station Panama City, in conjunction with local and state agencies including the Panama City Police Department and the Florida Department of Fish and Wildlife, searched through the night and a Coast Guard rescue helicopter crew from Air Station New Orleans conducted a first-light search Saturday.
