Coast Guard responds to possible person in water

SEATTLE – The Coast Guard is searching for a possible person in the water in the vicinity of Boundary Pass, Wash., Friday.

Coast Guard Station Bellingham, Wash., received a report of a drifting unmanned dinghy shortly after 1 p.m.

An HH-65 Dolphin helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Port Angeles, Wash., and the Coast Guard Cutter Terrapin, an 87-foot patrol boat from Bellingham, were launched to conduct a search of the area.
