HOUSTON – The Coast Guard, federal, state and local agencies are conducting search and rescue operations in support of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in and around Port Arthur, Texas.
Coast Guard Flood Punt Teams, Coast Guard Maritime Safety and Security Teams, Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit Port Arthur crews, and multiple Coast Guard aircraft crews are assisting people in distress.
The Incident Command Post at Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston remains active with recovery efforts.
