SEATTLE – The Coast Guard is responding to a diesel sheen at the Westport Marina in Westport, Wash., today.
An unknown amount of diesel fuel has entered the water and created a sheen throughout the marina.
Coast Guard Station Grays Harbor first observed and reported the sheen, and has placed absorbent pads around a storm drain and has deployed a boom in the water surrounding the storm drain exit.
