Coast Guard responds to adrift personal watercraft near Elsberry, Missouri

NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard is asking the public for any information regarding an adrift personal watercraft that was located near Elsberry, Missouri, Saturday.

Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Upper Mississippi River received a report at approximately 1 a.m. of a white personal watercraft with a red seat near mile marker 252.5 on the Upper Mississippi River.

Watchstanders issued a broadcast to inform boaters of the situation.

Missouri state patrol is also responding.

Anyone with information regarding the watercraft is asked to contact the Coast Guard Sector Upper Mississippi River at (314) 269- 2332.
