MOBILE, Ala. — The U.S. Coast Guard is responding to an adrift 30-foot sailboat with two men aboard, approximately 12 miles south of St. George Island, Fla., Monday.
Coast Guard Sector Mobile received a call at approximately 8 a.m., from the father of one of the men stating that the sailboat was adrift in rough weather.
The Coast Guard has launched an HC-144 Ocean Sentry aircraft from the Aviation Training Center, Mobile and an HH-60 Jayhawk from Air Station Clearwater, Fla., to assist.
