Coast Guard rescues two stranded hikers off cliff – video

SAN FRANCISCO – The Coast Guard rescued two stranded hikers off a cliff near Tennesse Beach in the Marin Headlands today at approximately 5:30 p.m.

The U.S. Park Service reported the two stranded hikers to the Coast Guard at approximately 3:30 p.m. An MH-65 rescue helicopter from Air Station San Francisco launched and arrived on scene at 5:17 p.m. The rescue helicopter hoisted one male and one female from the cliff and dropped them off at Tennessee Beach.

No injuries were reported.
