PORT REPUBLIC, N.J. – The Coast Guard rescued a man after his personal watercraft collided with another in the Mullica River near Port Republic Wednesday.
The Coast Guard received a call at 12 p.m. reporting two personal watercrafts collided putting two people in the water and one appeared to be injured.
A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Atlantic City, N.J., arrived on scene and put the man aboard their boat. The man was transported to Chestnut Neck Marina in Port Republic where he was transferred to awaiting emergency medical personnel.
