Coast Guard Rescues 4 near Fortescue, N.J.

FORTESCUE, N.J. – The Coast Guard rescued four people Tuesday aboard a disabled 20-foot boat off the coast here near Egg Island Point.

The Coast Guard received a call at 1:18 p.m. from a crewmember aboard the Magic Touch stating their boat was disabled and they needed assistance.

A Coast Guard rescue crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May, N.J., arrived on scene and towed the boat and crew to Sportsman Cove Marina in Fortescue.
