Coast Guard Rescues 4 near Cape May, N.J.

CAPE MAY, N.J. – The Coast Guard rescued four people Tuesday who were aboard a 41-foot boat 11 miles off the coast here.

Rescued was Steven Walsh, David Callohan, Martha Ferder and David Lahaan.

The Coast Guard received a call at 12:20 p.m. from a crewmember aboard the First Edition reporting they were low on fuel and had no sails.

A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May, N.J., arrived on scene and is preparing to take the boat and its crew into tow.
