CHARLESTON, S.C. — The Coast Guard rescued three boaters Saturday after their vessel became disabled and ran around near Whale Creek, South Carolina.

Coast Guard Sector Charleston Command Center watchstanders received a call at 7:38 p.m. from a boater on a 17-foot center console stating they had become disabled due to an engine malfunction.
