KEY WEST, Fla. — The Coast Guard rescued two people from the water Friday in the vicinity of Fleming Key.

Coast Guard Sector Key West watchstanders received notification from a good Samaritan stating two people were in the water and needed assistance.

A Coast Guard 33 –foot Special Purpose Craft-Law Enforcement boatcrew from Coast Guard Station Key West arrived on scene, located the two people and transported them back to their anchored sailing vessel with no medical concerns.
