Coast Guard rescues 1 in Rehoboth Bay, Del.

REHOBOTH BAY, Del. – The Coast Guard rescued a man Monday after the 18-foot boat he was aboard capsized in the north end of Rehoboth Bay, Del.

The Coast Guard received a call at 6 p.m. from a Good Samaritan reporting they located a man in the water but were unable to recover him.

A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Indian River arrived on scene and recovered the man from the water.

The rescue boat crew transported the man to a pier in Rehoboth Beach and transferred him to awaiting emergency medical personnel.
