Long Beach, Calif. – Beginning July 6, 2007, the Los Angeles-Long Beach Regional Examination Center will close to the public every Friday in order to fully dedicate its staff to merchant mariner license and document processing.
The center’s new office hours will be Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and closed every Friday and all federal holidays.
The Los Angeles-Long Beach Regional Exam Center serves over 40,000 professional mariners in Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada.
