Coast Guard, police, fire crews searching for missing man in Dickinson Bay, Texas

U.S. Coast Guard photograph by Petty Officer 3rd Class Mario Romero.HOUSTON — The Coast Guard helicopter crews and Texas City police and fire departments are searching for a missing wade fisherman who went missing Wednesday morning in Dickinson Bay across from San Leon, Texas.

Missing is Danny Joseph Kenney, a 26-year-old man described as being about 6-feet tall, 180 pounds with red hair, wearing a white shirt, brown pants and an orange lifejacket.

The Texas City Police Department notified the Coast Guard after receiving a call from the man’s father, who had been fishing with him early Wednesday morning. It was reported that his father dropped him off to wade fish while the father continued fishing from his boat and the father was unable to relocate Danny.
