Coast Guard Officer Candidate School graduates 78 new officers

The Coast Guard Officer Candidate School graduated 78 new officers along with 12 newly commissioned officers from the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration today. Also included in the class were five international students who graduated representing the countries of Belize, Malaysia, Philippines and the African Island Nation of Sao Tome Principe. The new officers will begin to serve immediately as leaders in a variety of roles throughout their respective services and countries of origin. NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Coast Guard Officer Candidate School graduated 78 new officers along with 12 newly commissioned officers from the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, Tuesday.

Also included in the class were five international students who graduated representing the countries of Belize, Malaysia, Philippines and the African Island Nation of Sao Tome Principe.

The new officers will begin to serve immediately as leaders in a variety of roles throughout their respective services and countries of origin.
