JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A U.S. Coast Guard boatcrew from Station Mayport, Fla., medically evacuated a Taylorsville, N.C., woman from a cruise ship near Mayport after she fell and broke her leg Saturday evening.
Staff on the Carnival cruise ship Fascination contacted Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville at 5:48 p.m. to notify them of the 42-year-old woman’s injury.
