SEATTLE – The Coast Guard medically evacuated a 12-year-old girl in the vicinity of Neah Bay, Wash., Sunday.
Coast Guard Group Port Angeles, Wash., received a call at 2:10 p.m. from the Neah Bay Ambulance Service requesting helicopter assistance for a 12-year-old girl who was injured while riding an all-terrain vehicle.
Coast Guard Air Station Port Angeles launched an HH-65C Dolphin helicopter crew to the scene.
The girl was taken to Air Station Port Angeles where she was transferred to an Airlift Northwest helicopter and taken to Harborview Medical Center here. The girl was in stable condition.
