MOBILE, Ala. — A Coast Guard aircrew medevaced a woman from a Panama City neighborhood surrounded by flood waters from Hurricane Michael, Wednesday evening.

While conducting post-hurricane search and rescue operations, the Coast Guard Aviation Training Center Mobile MH-65 Dolphin aircrew was signaled by flashlight from good Samaritans who were concerned for their neighbor in distress.

The woman was hoisted and transported to Bay Medical Sacred Heart hospital in Panama City, Florida. She was last reported in stable condition.
