Coast Guard medevacs woman, 66, from sailing vessel near Little Mud River, Georgia

Coast Guard Air Station Savannah MH-65 Dolphin helicopterCHARLESTON, S.C. — The Coast Guard medevacked a 66-year-old woman Wednesday from a sailing vessel near Little Mud River, Georgia.

Coast Guard Sector Charleston Command Center watchstanders were notified at 10:27 a.m. of a woman who was experiencing symptoms of memory loss. A Coast Guard Air Station Savannah MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew medevaced the woman at 11:45 a.m. and transported her to Savannah Memorial Hospital.

The woman was reported to be in stable condition.
