HOUSTON — The Coast Guard medevaced a crewmember from the tanker vessel Stolt Surf approximately 14 miles offshore Galveston, Texas, Monday morning.
Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders received a call from a crewmember aboard the vessel Stolt Surf requesting a medevac for a 36-year-old male experiencing chest and abdominal pain.
A Coast Guard Station Galveston 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boat crew arrived on scene and transferred the crewmember to awaiting emergency medical services personnel at Station Galveston.
The mariner was reported to be in stable condition.
