Coast Guard medevacs man from ship in Chesapeake Bay

BALTIMORE- A Coast Guard rescue helicopter crew from Air Station Atlantic City, N.J., medevaced a man from a ship in the Chesapeake Bay Thursday. Rescued was Nabil Ali.

At about 12:30 a.m., watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Baltimore were contacted by the crew of the 623-foot car carrier Integrity requesting the medevac of Ali, 39, who was experiencing symptoms of a stroke.

The aircrew transported Ali from the ship to John Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore.
