HOUSTON — The Coast Guard medevaced a 27-year-old man Monday afternoon from an oil tanker 13 miles east of Galveston, Texas.
The oil tanker Miss Claudia contacted Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders to report that a crewmember aboard was in need of medical assistance.
A Coast Guard Air Station Houston MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew arrived on scene at approximately 2:30 p.m. and transported the man to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
