NEW ORLEANS — The Coast Guard medevaced a 50-year-old man from a fishing vessel, 30 miles south of Morgan City, La., Monday.
The Coast Guard received a call from the fishing vessel Capt. Sam at approximately 3:10 p.m. Monday, reporting that a crewmember was suffering from chest pain and requested a medevac.
Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans launched an MH-65C dolphin helicopter and crew and successfully lifted the crewmember into the helicopter and transported him to Terrebonne General Hospital in Houma, La.
His condition is unknown.
