HOUSTON — The Coast Guard medevaced a 44-year-old man Tuesday afternoon, from a fishing boat 80 miles southeast of Galveston.
At 11:43 a.m., a crewmember of the fishing boat New Buccaneer contacted Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders to report that a 44-year-old man aboard was suffering from multiple seizures.
A Coast Guard Air Station Houston MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew arrived on scene at 2:10 p.m. and hoisted the man from the boat.
At 2:53 p.m., the man was delivered to an awaiting ambulance at Scholes International Airport in Galveston.
The man was reported to be in stable condition.
