PHILADELPHIA — The Coast Guard medevaced a man suffering from seasickness 12 miles east of Beach Haven, New Jersey, Saturday.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay dispatched a 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew from Coast Guard Station Atlantic City after receiving a distress call from a crew member aboard the 28-foot boat Miss Leanne, which ran out of fuel 12 miles east of Beach Haven, New Jersey.
The MLB crew arrived on-scene and transported the 52-year-old man to shore, where he was transferred to emergency medical service personnel.
Seat Tow towed the disabled vessel to Morrison’s Marina in Beach Haven, New Jersey.
