Coast Guard Medevacs Injured Boater

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – A boater was medevaced after the 17-foot vessel he was traveling in collided with the Rt. 90 bridge in Ocean City, Md., this evening.

A 25-year-old man suffering lacerations to his knee was medevaced by a rescue crew from Coast Guard Station Ocean City and transferred to EMS personnel onshore.

The injured man was flown to Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md., for treatment.
