NEW ORLEANS — A Coast Guard response boat crew medevaced a fisherman near Pensacola, Florida, Sunday.
Coast Guard Station Pensacola received a report at 10:01 a.m. by the fishing vessel, Jesse Ann, that one of their crewmembers suffered a laceration to his hand.
A Coast Guard flight surgeon recommended an immediate medevac.
The 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew transported the patient to Quietwater Pier where he was met by his wife who took him to a local hospital.
