MIAMI—The Coast Guard medevaced a 38-year-old fisherman Saturday in the vicinity of Key West.

Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Key West received a call from the 43-foot fishing vessel, Lucky Charm, stating a passenger was reportedly suffering from medical complications.

A Coast Guard Station Key West 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boatcrew arrived on scene, embarked the passenger and transferred him to awaiting emergency medical services in stable condition for further medical care.
