LOS ANGELES — The Coast Guard medically evacuated a 60-year-old male diver south of San Miguel Island, Monday, September 12, 2016.Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach received a call at 5:54 p.m., from the commercial dive vessel, Vision, reporting that a male diver aboard was complaining of neck pain and fell unconscious.
A MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Forward Operating Base Point Mugu arrived on scene and safely transferred the diver to UCLA medical center.
