NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard medevaced a 59-year-old male from a motor vessel near Dauphin Island, Alabama, Sunday.
Coast Guard Sector Mobile watchstanders received a notification at 10:38 p.m. Sunday from the master of the motor vessel Asphalt Sailor about a Russian crewmember who was reported experiencing symptoms of heart arrhythmia.
Watchstanders launched a Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island Response Boat-Medium boatcrew to medevac the crewmember.
The boatcrew successfully embarked the patient and transferred him in good condition to emergency services waiting at Station Dauphin Island.
