SEATTLE — The Coast Guard medevaced a 71-year-old man off the cruise ship Sea Princess, Monday, near the entrance buoy to Coos Bay, Ore.
The Coast Guard received a report stating the man was suffering from heart problems while on board the ship, which was located approximately 60 miles west of Coos Bay.
A Coast Guard 47-foot motor lifeboat crew based at Station Coos Bay met the cruise ship at the entrance buoy, recovered the man and transferred him to local EMS on shore.
