NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard medevaced a man from 12 nautical miles south of Dauphin Island, Alabama, Wednesday.
Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island watchstanders received a call at 5:55 p.m. reporting a 58-year-old man suffering heart attack-like symptoms.
Coast Guard Sector Mobile watchstanders directed the launch of a Station Dauphin Island 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew at 5:58 p.m.
The boat crew arrived on scene at 6:13 p.m. and transported the survivor to emergency services at Station Dauphin Island at 6:37 p.m.
The man was reported to be in stable condition.
