New Orleans – A Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans aircrew medevaced a man after he injured his head from a fall.

Coast Guard Sector New Orleans received a report at 1:47 a.m. Friday that a 34-year-old man on the motor vessel UBC Stockholm fell approximately 10 feet on the vessel and suffered from a head injury.

Sector New Orleans launched a Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew.

The aircrew hoisted the crewmember and transferred him to University Medical Center, Louisiana in stable condition.
