Coast Guard Medevacs 10 Year Old from St. Paul Island, Alaska

JUNEAU, Alaska – The Coast Guard provided a medical evacuation of a girl from St. Paul Island at approcimately 7p.m. Monday

A Coast Guard C-130 aircraft responded to a request for transportation of a 10-year-old girl from St. Paul Island to Anchorage for medical attention.

The Guardian Medevac Service was originally asked to transport the girl, but was unable to land due to poor visibility. The C-130 from Air Station Kodiak was then called in.

The condition of the girl is unknown at this time.
