BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard and local authorities are searching for a 35-year-old man after he went swimming and could not be located in the Bush River near Aberdeen, Md., Sunday.
Missing is Khaam Xairabong.
A dispatcher of Harford County 911 contacted Coast Guard Sector Baltimore watchstanders at approximately 9 p.m. reporting two men were in distress in the Bush River and one had been rescued and the other is still missing.
A good Samaritan in a canoe rescued one of the men.
A boatcrew aboard a 25-foot Response Boat – Small from Coast Guard Station Curtis Bay, Md., a Harford County rescue boatcrew, a Maryland State Police helicopter aircrew and a Maryland Natural Resources Police boatcrew responded to search for Xairabong.
Xairabong is reported to have been wearing white cargo shorts and no shirt.
