Coast Guard, local agencies search for possible person in the water near Seabrook, NH

BOSTON — Coast Guard crews along with the Salisbury Fire Department are searching Sunday evening for a possible person in the water near Seabrook, New Hampshire.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., a person on shore called 911 and reported a blue hang glider and possible person in distress 600 yards off Seabrook Beach.

Currently searching are:

  • A 29-foot Response Boat-Small crew from Coast Guard Station Portsmouth Harbor
  • An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod
  • Salisbury, Massachusetts Fire Department

There are no correlating reports of a missing person.
